Ideas for the Performance

TWO SHOWS - 6PM & 8PM

• Each Audience of 50 divided into 3 groups from the start
• Meet at the Rosary Gate
  
• Guided to pump house- see things on the way: GHOSTS CHOIRS
• PEOPLE IN SANDWICH BOARDS- WORDS/TEXT
• PARK KEEPER
• Watch from Courtyard----Seated
• Building Performs-----Soundtrack
• Section of live performance and video inside
• Then onto courtyard
• Audience go into three spaces Or different soundtracks but with something the same, i.e. Dripping (Possibly same soundtrack?)
• Similar pieces, Timed-10-15 minutes
• Two or three happenings seen from inside at the same time.
• Someone made into a ghost----Horrific/ Torture
• Cannon of sound down through three spaces I.e. Stamping
• Always aware of other people in spaces
• Recorded marching up and down the stairs
• Move performers through rooms instead of audience moving. i.e. George playing at the top then coming down
• When audience get outside again, Look back and building is full of water.
• People floating, Bodies whooshing out.
  
• Someone standing looking out of front window
• 20 ghosts walk up behind someone, they look around, ghosts are gone
• Falling dolls
• Twisted pipes going through the building

 Recorded text- Stories of ghosts over humming

Other possible ideas for the Pump House and Park:

1. Frog men- Story of drowned people in pond

2. Memories/ Stories? From community, Post cards/ photographs, 2 park benches- put together
to chat

3. Death/ Ghosts, plaques from benches, lit up

4. Building alive- Dripping/ leaking/ bleeding

5. In Lower floor; happenings are shown on film.

Idea of the bulding being alive:

1. BREATHING- Watched from outside
2. CHORAL SOUND- Doors, Windows opening and closing with SOUND and LIGHTS Instruments (saxophone?) Steam, Blowing, Pipes, Pumps, Water, Breathing, Music, Heart
3. MASS OF BODIES (The heart?), Breathing, left with one
4. FRONT WINDOW- Performance? Gallery part, Fountains, Audience look up
